How
to find what you're looking for
All our products are sorted into the main categories
you see in the top navigation bar. These categories are Video/DVD,
CD's, Figures/Toys,
Books and Misc.
To browse these categories for products, click on one and you will
be presented with a screen displaying the product ranges that fall
under that category. Clicking on a product range will then present
you with a screen displaying the products.
If there are many products to a section, the products will be split
over numerous pages. These can be navigated by clicking on the page
numbers you see at the top and bottom of the page. Products are
displayed alphabetically, with items that are coming soon and new
releases displayed at the top of the first page.
You can also find forthcoming and newly released items in the coming
soon and new
releases pages found on the left hand navigation bar.

Searching
for items
If you fail to find what you are looking for
by browsing, or know exactly what you're after, you can use the
search feature at the top right of every page. You can type in the
title of the product you're looking for, or try more general terms
like 'Dalek' or 'Jon Pertwee' to display products related to those
terms.

Adding
items to your shopping basket
Once you have found a product you wish to add
to your shopping basket, simply click the 'Add to Basket' button
associated with the product. You will then be presented with the
shopping basket screen showing the item you have just added.
You can now either click the 'Proceed to checkout' button to begin
the checkout process, or continue adding items to your shopping
basket by browsing/searching the site.
If you continue to shop for more products, you will be shown the
updated shopping basket each time you add an item to it. Alternatively,
you can view your shopping basket at any time by clicking the 'Shopping
Basket' button on the top navigation bar.
If you have items you would like to pre-order, simply click the
'pre-order' button associated with the product, and it will be added
to your shopping basket.

Managing
items in your shopping basket
Your shopping basket will display all the items
you have added to it, and also any items you have selected to pre-order.
If you wish to change the quantity of a product, or change which
option you require (eg. size), you can make these changes by entering
the values you want and clicking the 'Update' button for the item.
You can remove items by clicking the 'Remove' button next to the
item you wish to remove.
Once you are happy with the items in your shopping basket, click
the 'Proceed to checkout' button to begin the checkout process.

Checking
out and purchasing your order
Unless you are 'logged in' already when you click
on 'Proceed to checkout' from the shopping basket, the checkout
process begins by taking you to the 'Login' page.
Here you are either asked to 'Log in' if you are an existing customer
and have an account, or you are asked to enter your name, email
address and choose a password, which will create an account with
us.
Once this is done you will be taken to a page asking you to choose
a shipping address for delivery. If you have ordered with us before
your address/addresses will be displayed for you to select. If this
is your first order with us we ask you to enter the address you
would like the order delivered to. This information will then be
stored so you don't have to enter it every time you order.
The final page of the checkout process displays the details of your
order, and asks for the registered cardholder's address and payment
details. If you have ordered with us before, the cardholder's address
will be filled in for you. If this is your first order, please enter
the address that the card you will be paying with is registered
to. This will then be stored so you don't have to enter it every
time you order.
Finally, we ask you to enter your card details for the payment of
the order. For security reasons we ask you to enter this information
every time you order with us. When you have done this, click the
'Place Order' button and your order will be sent to us via a secure
encrypted email.
The first time you order with us, an account is created using the
details you enter during the checkout process. You can view and
edit these details at any time by clicking the 'Your Account' button
in the top navigation.
Once your order is placed, it will appear in the 'Past and pending
orders' section of 'Your Account'.

How
to set up an account
The first time you order with us, an account
is created using the details you enter during the checkout process.
You can view and edit these details at any time by clicking the
'Your Account' button in the top navigation.
Alternatively, you can set up an account before you place your first
order with us. To do this, click the 'Your Account' button in the
top navigation, which will take you to the 'Login' page. Underneath
the 'I am a new customer' heading are boxes for you to enter your
name, email address and choose a password. After you have entered
your information an account will be created with us, and you will
be taken to the 'Your Account' section of the site so you can manage
your account details.

Managing
your account details and orders
Once you have an account with us you can view
and edit your details at any time by clicking the 'Your Account'
button in the top navigation. If you are not 'logged in' you will
be asked to do so and then taken to your account pages. These are
as follows:
Change Password
To change your password, simply type a new one in the input boxes
and click 'update'.
View your Shipping Addresses
Here you can view, edit, delete and add new shipping addresses.
Any shipping addresses you enter here will be available for you
to select when ordering.
Edit Card Holder's Address
If you always order with the same card, it saves time to enter the
address the card is registered to here. Then the details will be
filled in for you when you order. Alternatively, if you order with
different cards at different times, you can fill in the appropriate
card holder's address each time you order. Either way, we must have
the registered card holder's address when delivering to a different
address.
View your past & pending orders
Here you can view your current pending orders, pre-orders and any
orders you have placed in the past.
Orders that are pending and waiting to be shipped to you are marked
with a status of 'Pending'. You can click the 'View' button
next to each order to view an order's details. If the order is pending
and has not yet been shipped you will have the option of cancelling
the order. To do this click the 'Cancel this order' button. This
will send an email to us requesting we cancel the order. If we receive
this email in time and have not yet shipped your goods, the order
will be cancelled and your card will not be charged.
Orders that have been successfully cancelled will display with a
status of 'Cancelled'.
As soon as we ship the order to you, we will notify you by email
and the status of the order in 'Past & pending orders' will
change from 'pending' to 'Shipped'. This indicates your goods
are on their way to you!
The Past & pending orders page shows your standard orders by
default. You can view your Pre-orders by clicking the 'Pre Orders'
link. This displays your pre-orders in the same way. Again you can
cancel pre-orders that have not yet been shipped and your card will
not be charged.
View your Standing orders
Here you can view the details of any standing orders you have active,
or have requested.
When you request to set up a standing order for a particular product
line, the details are displayed here with a status of 'Pending'.
Once we have approved your request we will notify you by email and
the status of the standing order will change from 'pending' to 'active'.
If you wish to cancel a standing of the type where you pay for items
as they are despatched, click the 'View' button to view the details
of the standing order you wish to cancel. Then click the 'Cancel
this order' button. An email will be sent to us requesting we cancel
the standing order. Once we have processed your request, we will
email you and your standing order will be cancelled, and no further
products will be sent to you.
Please note that if you have payed in advance for your standing
order, we can not refund you and will continue to send you products
until the term of your standing order has expired.

Pre-ordering
'Coming soon' items
When we are aware of items that are not yet released,
we put them on the coming
soon page for you to pre-order - often post free or with a discount.
If you pre-order items, they will be shipped to you as soon as we
receive them in stock.
To pre-order an item simply click the 'Pre-Order' button associated
with the item. This will place the product in your shopping basket
and you can then check-out and order the item (see Checking
out and purchasing your order for further details). Although
you can place multiple pre-orders in a single session using the
shopping basket, we will ship and charge for them all separately
as and when they become available.
Please note that we will not charge your card until the item has
been despatched.

Setting
up standing orders
If you are an avid collector of Doctor Who merchandise,
then standing orders are for you! Setting up a standing order for
a product line ensures you receive all new and forthcoming titles
from that line as soon as they are released, often post free. We
offer different types of standing orders for different product
lines:
Individually charged Standing Orders:
If you elect to pay for your standing order one release at a time, payment will be taken upon release of each
title covered by the standing order. You may cancel a standing order at any time. If payment is not authorised/declined
by the bank upon payment being attempted, freepost and all special prices connected with the standing order are suspended.
We may from time to time include additional special releases and limited series that fall within the category of the standing
order. We will notify you at least 28 days in advance of our intention to include any of these titles if they are in
addition to the regular releases.
Subscription Standing Orders:
If you elect to pay for a one-off subscription payment for a standing order, the whole subscription fee will be taken in
one initial payment and each title then sent upon release until the expiry of that subscription. Special releases and limited
series that fall within the category of the standing order will not be included if they are in addition to the regular releases.
You can set up standing orders in two ways:
1. On the 'Standing Orders' page (found on the left hand
navigation bar) : Click the 'Set up' button next to name
of the product line you wish to set up a standing order for.
2. On the relevant product line page: Click the 'Set up a
standing order for this product line' link at the top of the page.
Unless you are 'logged in' already when you click either of these
links, you will be taken to the 'Login' page. Here you are either
asked to 'Log in' if you are an existing customer and have an account,
or you are asked to enter your name, email address and choose a
password, which will create an account with us.
Once this is done you will be taken to the 'Standing order set up
page'. Here you will be presented with any relevant details or options
for the standing order you have selected. Choose any options you
may require and click the 'continue' button.
This will take you to the 'Delivery Information' page of the shopping
basket, where you will be asked to choose a shipping address for
delivery. If you have ordered with us before your address/addresses
will be displayed for you to select. If this is your first order
with us we ask you to enter the address you would like the standing
order delivered to. This information will then be stored for future
orders.
The final page of the standing order set up process displays the
details of your order, and asks for the registered cardholder's
address and payment details. If you have ordered with us before,
the cardholder's address will be filled in for you. If this is your
first order, please enter the address that the card you will be
paying with is registered to. This information will then be stored
for future orders.
Finally, we ask you to enter your card details for the payment of
the order. Depending on the type of standing order you are requesting,
we will either use this for all future payments for items despatched
under the standing order, or charge it once the order has been approved
in the case of advance payment standing orders.
When you have entered your card details, click the 'Place Order'
button and your standing order request will be sent to us via a
secure encrypted email.
If this is the first time you have ordered with us, an account is
created using the details you enter during the standing order set
up process. You can view and edit these details at any time by clicking
the 'Your Account' button in the top navigation.
Once your standing order request is placed, it will appear in the
'Standing orders' section of 'Your Account'.

About
our E-Newsletter
Periodically, we send out an E-Newsletter detailing
news, new products and events, via an email to customers who have
requested it.
If you wish to sign up to receive our E-Newsletter, click the E-Newsletter
link in the left hand navigation bar. This displays a page where
you can enter your name and the email address you would like your
E-Newsletter sent to. Click 'Submit' and you will be added to our
E-Newsletter mailing list.

About
your views
The 'Your views' section of the site allows you
to submit your views/reviews of Doctor Who products and merchandise,
or anything else Doctor Who related really! Submitted views are
quickly checked by us, and then if accepted are displayed on the
page.
To submit a view/review, click the Your
views link in the left hand navigation bar. This displays a
page showing the current views/reviews with a link for you to add
your own.
To add a view, simply click the 'Add your own view' button at the
bottom of the page. This takes you to a page where you can enter
your name, email address and comments. If you have an account with
us your details will be filled in automatically. Clicking 'Submit'
sends your view to us for approval. Once we have given it a once
over, we will place it on the page for you.
