Just read your reply regarding Product Enterprise, and was wondering if you know what will be different about the remote controlled Dalek? Also any idea as to why they've cancelled the Talking Davros?

The new Radio Control Dalek has a more refined control box and consequently improved movement and voice commands. The packaging is totally redesigned as well and it will come fitted with batteries. What's more we are offering it at £10 less than the previous design! The Talking Davros has been cancelled for several reasons but mainly because it became too expensive to make for the price they wanted to charge.

My son and I are both great fans of Doctor Who past and present (he's only 7 but enjoys the repeats on Sky.)I found this site by accident whilst looking for a Dalek birthday card and have pre-ordered a few items for him. I wish I had known about this store prior to Christmas and maybe I could have pre-ordered the 12" Remote control dalek!!! It was 22nd December when I managed to get one, PHEW!! Hope we don't have the same problem with anything this Christmas. Think I'll start shopping now!!

I got my Remote Controlled Talking Davros today, everthing appears fine! I still love this site very much.
It appears that THE DAVROS voice command button, only lets you press it 2 times for 2 voice command sentences...How come they never included more sentences?
Why doesn't he say...Exterminate, exterminate?

Just wanted to say a few words on BBVS DVD release of The Airzone Solution,and sing their praises! Its great stuff, the actual film, despite its low-budget, is a worthy addition to BBVs range and the performances from Davison,Pertwee,Mccoy and especially Colin Baker all add to the tension. Also, a good extras package with outtakes,Davison interview,deleted scenes and audio tracks make a great value for money disc! Roll on the Auton/Stranger dvds!

The news about the new series is fantastic. I think we are in for a treat with Russell T Davies and Christopher Eccleston at the helm. I only wish I could avoid seeing any news spoilers until the day and see it as I did when I was a kid. In those days I had no idea what might appear on the screen and it made it all the more exciting.

Since the new show is a bonafide hit in the UK, are there any plans by either Product Enterprise, Character Options or another company to release 12" figures of ALL 10 Doctors? If not, can we fans start a petition to let them know about it?

The company who has the licence to make toys for the new series are releasing a 12 inch 10th Doctor Figure and there has already been a 12" Walkie Talkie Figure of the 9th Doctor. Product Enterprise have the licence to produce classic series toys and a 12" 4th Doctor Figure will be available in the autumn. If that sells well there is a possibility that other Doctors may be considered.

I love the service from galaxy 4 as they can get details on new products which some Dr Who shops can not provide and up-date. I am a Dr Who collector mainly collecting toys, books and magazines from the long runing tv series and will be geting a full sized movie dalek built. But this is far from finished, so I look forwad to the new products ahead for 2006 to keep me entertained. Thankyou.

I think the new 2005 series is pretty good. However, of all of the Doctor's companions, I really thought that Rose Tyler, kind of handled this alien new comer...@ least to her fairly quickly. She did have questions etc, but for the most part she handled her situation well!
I didn't much like some of the monsters in the 2nd episode. The story-line was good thought...& the Earth's Death was cool! & the Spiders were too! & so far..I liked EPISODES: 1. 3. & 4..& the 6th..With THE DALEKS looks very exciting!
I don't mind David Tennant regenerating into the 10th Doctor, but they should have shown the 8th Paul McGann, changing with the 9th! Also its just too soon 2 get rid of Mr. Eccleston's incarnation!
I wonder if I'm related to this David Tennant. I too have a Scottish & Irish background...I think its great we have the same last name Mark Tennant...David Tennant..Cool!!!!!!!!!

i'm glad the daleks will be in the new Doctor Who. I'd hoped the cybermen would return as well. I'm enjoying the Dr who magazine comic strip, 'The Flood' with the Cybermen too! I'd love to see a new Ice Warriors or Yeti story next. The 2005 Doctor Who/ Dalekmania calendar is the best yet!

Hi, Can you explain how websites like yourself and Outpost Gallifrey have the names of at least 2 of next year's DVD releases days if not weeks before The Official BBC Website and The Restoration Team Website?
Frankly the BBC Secrecy surrounding these releases baffles and frustrates me - I'd rather they gave us the full year's release schedule the year before once its been determined!

You have answered your own question here. Because of their 'official' status The BBC and Restoration Team can't confirm the releases until all clearances have been met and approved through a wide range of channels. We only decided to list these titles ourselves after BBC Australia and BBC America revealed them in their own schedules for 2005, suggesting their release in UK would pre-date their release overseas. Also we never betray the confidence of producers' by giving away compromising information about any products before reliable information is revealed 'officially' elsewhere (in this case BBC America and BBC Australia).

I really ejoyed the first episode and thought Christopher Eccleston made a good Doctor. I didn't like the Mark Benton character at all. I'm glad they killed him off although you didn't see him dead so I hope they don't use him again in future episodes.
I was however very disappointed that there was no regeneration between paul mcgann & christopher eccleston do you know why they chose not to do one as this is the first time there has not been a regeneration

I think I found it a little hard to believe I was actually watching a new Doctor and a new beginning. I need to watch it again to digest it fully.
Christopher Eccleston's Doctor is really good - I thought by the end of the episode he was showing a lot of potential, with slight similarities to McCoy, Tom Baker and Troughton's Doctors. The Doctor is really like an adventurous, hyperactive big kid - yet unbelievably intelligent. And that's how Eccleston portrayed him in my opinion. I'm really looking forward to seeing how he develops the character.
Episode one had the difficult task of re-introducing, re-inventing the concept for a new generation, yet continuing the legacy to a degree - and I think it did it very well. All the essential elements to make it suitably Who-ish were present in some way.

Doctor Who is back and we love it!
A perfect continuation of the TV series we know and love. It couldn't be much better really. With a pilot episode of only 45 minutes a regeneration would have been impossible to fit into the story. However, with the news of a second series and a new Doctor in 2006 a regeneration is probably now on the cards.

Great online shop and service folks! Have major gripe that R2 "Key to Time" Box Set has been SEVERELY limited and is in fact deleted already! There must be thousands of us who were budgeting to buy that - and many other Who dvds - and now it's gone already. Any chance at all that BBC will issue a second edition, for the many who have missed out completely, on this item?

The Key To Time DVD set was released and advertised as a limited edition of 15,000. Because of this it cannot be re-issued once all the 15,000 units have been sold. The six stories from the set may be released individually next year at the regular price of £19.99 each. The box set was at a special price. An American Region 1 version (without special features) is still available.

The BBC launch their new range of cult classics box sets this spring with Quatermass. If this is popular other series such as Doomwatch will be considered for release. ITV series are more uncertain, depending on who owns the rights.
