NEIL COLE is a multi-media artist and lifelong science-fiction fan. After studying Physics, Art and Music, NEIL spent three decades teaching and painting before conceiving, building and opening THE MUSEUM OF CLASSIC SCI-FI in Allendale, Northumberland.
NEIL’s art alternates between sculptural, painting and drawing, all vital skills he deploys when restoring fragile sci-fi props and creatures that make up the museum collection. He has recently written his first book
IT BELONGS IN A MUSEUM: SEARCHING FOR TREASURES FROM CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO (2024). He has written for DOCTOR WHO MAGAZINE, restored a prop for the BBC’s classic DOCTOR WHO - THE COLLECTION Blu-ray range and has appeared on both Netflix and Channel 5.
