A BLAST FROM THE PAST TO BE RE-RELEASED BY REELTIME!
In 1997, Visual Corporation Ltd., released a documentary on VHS titled WHO IS TOM BAKER? UNOFFICIAL.
It featured interviews with TOM BAKER (shot in the USA), plus ELISABETH SLADEN, NICHOLAS COURTNEY, MATTHEW WATERHOUSE, TERRANCE DICKS and ALAN BARNES shot at the Manopticon convention in 1997.
It was never released on DVD and Visual Communication Ltd., went out of business in 2008 ... all its assets were destroyed - including the master edit.
Our team have remastered the production from VHS to digital and processed both the vision and sound to get the best possible quality, plus reimagined the inlay for DVD ... I'm going to give those involved a thank-you nearer the release date. We've also secured the rights to re-release this long-lost production as DVD, Download and Stream.
We're also producing a short special feature (hosted by DAVID J HOWE) explaining the history behind the production ... which features the team from Manopticon and, we hope, an interview with the director JAMES ENGWELL.
